Monterey Heights

ArtReach Mural Program is the best! Here we are at Monterey Heights STEAM Academy teaching kids how to paint murals and brightening up their campus for years to come.

This collaborative mural, shaped by the input of students and staff, captures the essence of STEAM education, (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) The school’s mascot, the eagle, gracefully soars through the sky. In its wake, a trail of enlightenment unfolds—a path composed of various STEAM symbols arranged as constellations- symbolizing the boundless dreams and aspirations of students on their journey of learning.

This was a tricky building- lots of doors and windows to work around. I think we were successful at making those elements “disappear”- and thus made this once drab building into a vibrant and inspiring place to learn!
